He graduated from the University of Arizona, located in Tucson, Arizona, with a graduate degree in Human Resource Management. After serving in the U.S. Air Force for 22 years, he transitioned to a career in the private sector. He worked as a Staffing & Business Development Manager for a reputable organization before advancing to the role of Director of Human Resources & Organizational Development.

In 2021, Ken founded his own company called The McKenny Group LLC. The company specializes in providing high-quality human resources consulting services to organizations of all sizes.
